NOW IS A POINTER TO TOMORROW

Life seems to be in a cycle. God as the master minder usually prepares everyone for the next phase of his/her life now.
When you take now serious and intentional about it, you have already passed through tomorrow half way.
In Genesis 15:13-17; 17:8, God took Abram to Canaan as alien in preparation for his descendants who will also come to live as aliens. No matter how good or bad today's experience is, it will be needed tomorrow.
This is the reason why the wise never ignores today because today's experience is recipe for the next level. After Abram had stayed there for awhile, God revealed to Abram His future intention, showing Abram that he is a seed for tomorrow. Note that how you handle now is a seed for the future.
Furthermore, Abram was asked to make a sacrifice and the sacrifice led to the revelation of the divine intention of God concerning the descendants of Abram, and God established a covenant between Himself and Abram.
Your sacrifice may come in form of patience, giving, humility, long suffering, enduring ridicule, loving the unlovable, etc. Except the sacrifice goes forth, a man will forfeit God's divine plan.
If you are not conscious of the fact that, where you are now is pointing you to tomorrow, but agree with flesh and leave before the lesson is learnt, you will live with the regret forever. Since you wouldn't  learn thoroughly, you'll appear on the other side ill-prepared.
Abram stayed in Canaan and obeyed God's voice in the strange land. He stayed with his sacrifice until God spoke (vs 12-16). Your strange land could be where you are squatting, working, or learning; Leaving before your sacrifice is accepted, could mean leaving behind the ladder with which you were suppose to climb to destiny.
Always remember that today's good, bad, and ugly experience is in preparation for tomorrow. Learn your lessons well and secure tomorrow now.
